All of the SFZ pix are at the Perfect Conquest Project>>>>

Space Fantasy Zone from what I know, is probably going to be a CD-rom
rom & not a SCD. The reason why I say that is because of the time it
was made & scheduled for release (around 1991), also if U look very
closely at the rare cover art for SFZ that I have posted a few times,
at the top of the artwork is the old CD-rom rom icon (barely visible
because of blur) & not the SCD one. In this newest batch of
screenshots I have noticed quite a few intriguing things! First, the
opening sequence shot of Opa-Opa leaving the mother ship, is almost
identical to IREM's Mr. Heli opening where he's is leaving some kind
of mother ship as well. I don't think its any small coincidence
either that both Mr. Heli & Opa-Opa are flying craft with legs, &
kinda cute little critters at that! If U really want to get the WHOLE
Fantasy Zone story, go to the Fantasy Zone link I have had in the
links for ages! There is a whole section just about Opa-Opa, & all of
the versions of this game are there, including screenshots! By the
way as you know Sega is the maker of the Fantasy Zone series & as far
as I know, every version except the one HuCard for the PCE &
TurboGrafx was for a Sega machine, SFZ would make that 2! I would
also recommend getting a copy of the original Fantasy Zone HuCard, &
playing it over & over again! Besides the fact that this game was
never released, it was also advertised as a coming attraction for the
PC-Engine CD-ROM for years in all of the Jap PCE gaming rags! Adding
to that, I think Fantasy Zone held a special place in alot of peoples
hearts who were loyal to the TurboGrafx & PCE because it was the 1st
game alot of us ever played, & was our introduction to the world of
NEC-HE. When I bought my 1st TurboGrafx outfit, complete with the CD
attachment (as it was called then) Im pretty sure that Fantasy Zone
was bundled in with it, & I know it was the 1st game I ever played on
my TG-16. SFZ might be an anti-climax to those that are not into the
Fantasy Zone series.
