As a frequent ebay user (seller and buyer) I have only been ripped of once (on ebay
opposed to several times from open forums) I say if the seller has positive
feedback with no negatives you should be fine. ( this is something you should be
shure of before you bid!)  I wouldn't count on getting money back from their claims
department if something goes wrong. If your terrified of getting ripped off you
could offer to prepay shipping and COD charges if he would ship COD (although this
would be entirely up to him if he didn't state that he would except COD in his
listing)
Just my take on this!
