Yeah. Neither did I. I had to be bothered by a lot of people first. And it
still took me a lot of trying crap before I got it to work completely
right. Yahoo! didn't even send me anything regarding how the new system
works. And the new system just doesn't make any sense compared to the old
one. No site IDs, so the sites don't go in any particular order anymore.
Can't edit sites. (not even I can.) No email address asked from the site
owner, just Yahoo! ids, which makes it extremely difficult to contact the
owners of the sites in order to help them. The whole new system just plain
stinks. We're just lucky the ring exists anymore, because we don't have the
option of just picking up and using a different service. Nearly half of the
sites in the ring are no longer updated and do not have working email
addresses so I can contact the owners, so it wouldn't be possible to get
them to update their html fragments so we can use a different service.
We're stuck with it, and I'm happy that it works at all. Just understand
that I can't solve everybody's problems with it anymore.
