The birth control pill - the one that's been legal in the US since the late
50's I assume. Prevents women from getting pregnant. It was just made
legal in Japan about 2 years ago b/c the govt. wasn't sure if it was 'safe'
or not. Oddly enough, an abortion costs about $1000 here -- gee, wonder why
they didn't want the pill to be legal. Viagra on the other hand, was
legalized 6 months after it was legalized in the states, even after 2 people
in japan died from taking it.

I've been told by guys I know that have been stationed in Japan that has
been
pretty bad in the past. Paul, what's the deal with the birth control pill
being illegal, though? I have not heard that before...the pill isn't
illegal
in the US. Are you referring to that contraceptive pill?
