This is only my oppinion, but...
I HATE when people say stuff like this. I'm not making fun of Steve, because
he didn't say that this was his opinion, just that he saw it. Besides, I like
Steve!

Anyway, people who say, "Songs with bad lyrics in them desensitize kids" are
jerks. There are more love songs than anything. And if a song could make you
do something, don't you think we'd all be loving each other?

Videogames don't desensitize people. Sure, if someone is crazy enough to go
out and murder his classmates, a videogame like Doom is going to appeal to
him. But it probably wasn't the videogame that made that person nuts, more
than likely that person was nuts to begin with. After playing an intense game
of Bonk's adventure, I do not go out and smash my head against things.
However, I could easily see how a kid who like slamming his head into stuff
would think Bonk was the greatest game ever.

I think there's a lot of spin doctoring in this article. "Young people who
play lots of violent video games behave more violently than those who do
not." I think that the person who did this study is a little biased. The
Professor doesn't define "lots of video games". Lots of video games could be
7 hours of Doom a day…that is certainly "lots of video games". I think you'd
agree that a person who plays 7 hours of Doom a day has something wrong with
him, but that's not the video games fault.

Anyway, now that I'm done ranting, what are some great 5-player games (or
multiplayer at least) on hucard for the TG16/PCE? I brought TG into school
with 5 controllers; we have the most intense games of Bomberman '94. Which
leads me to my next question. What does the pink Kangaroo do? Does he just
shake his butt?! Is it a useless kangaroo?

Thanks,
Brendan
