Think about this. You say the reason why you don't like Sega is
because all of the 3rd party developers created games for a system
that could only depend on an excellent marketing department? Uh, If
your beef is about a company with nothing but a very efficient
marketing apparatus, I think your beef would be with Sony, they are
100 times the size of Sega, and what were their credentials in the
gaming world when they decided to monopolize it?? I mean come on,
Sega was a presence in video game arcades long before the advent of
consoles. Sony was a television and stereo company. At least Sega was
a video gaming company, (creating quite a few good games for the NEC-
HE systems by the way.) The only thing gaming related that can be
attributed to Sony is Crash Bandicoot (gimme a break). There strength
was not, and is still not in gaming, it is in mass marketing and
global distribution, not to mention name recognition. I mean who
doesn't recognize the Sony brand name. Don't fool yourself, Sony was
never a video games company, Sega was and is, and that is the answer
to your question about those of us that despise the PSX in favor of
the DC. On the topic of this thread, Microsoft has been involved in
gaming and obviously computer gaming from the inception of PC gaming,
and is the one company on this planet that has the power to make
mincemeat out of Sony, and I am enjoying the rumblings of a fierce
battle ahead.

>Convince me why the Playstation is not that good.

Nobody should have to convince you that the PSX "is not that good."
If you like it, and are happy with the games you play on it, more
power to you! Not everyone likes a Lexus, or a Firebird, or a
Silverado pick-up for that matter, it just depends on what it is that
you want, and obviously you are in the company of millions of others
that like the PSX and what it has to offer. I don't. I'm glad that
you have a Duo, and like the system, obviously I and the others in
this group do too :^ )
