I amended that post yesterday over at Shmups because the game DOES NOT hold up over extended playings...utter death to a shooter.  However, there are many good points about the game (scoring technique specifically), and Takumi is making great progress.  However, 4 full levels with 3 three extra levels consisting only of a boss fight do not a happy boy make.  Mars Matrix is still top of the Takumi list in my opinion.  Most people won't agree, I'm sure, because they are swayed by graphic substance over replay value.
