I always send normal mail unless by specific request not to.  Most 
thinks arrive within a week -- 2 if customs holds it.  EMS is quite 
expensive, but is insured for 20,000 yen -- even damaage insurance.
I never screw anyone, and I think I'm considered reliable -- check 
here before ebay - might save you some hair in the long run.
