Re: [NEC_Avenue] Re: what's a Linda3 (Linda {"cubed") PC Engine?Duo??

From John Weaver <xxxxxx@insurer.com>
Date
Linda/Linda Cube is an extremely rare game. I would not be selling it if I
didn't need the money.. It is one of those rare gems that I actually got my
hands on. The game is clissified and an Adventure game, but it plays more
like an RPG.

The world outside of the towns play a lot like Y's 1&2 but when you run into
an enemy, it opens up a battle scene. If you have ever played Chrono
Trigger for the snes, you will understand a little more. My Japanese
reading skills are not the best, actually quite poor so I can not give you
the story line. There is a lot of Japanese text in the game, but you do not
really need to know Japanese to play the game, but it does help.

The game was released only in Japan near the end of the Duo's life, so it
was released only in limited numbers. It also has the 18+ warning on it.
It is a violent horror/hentai type game. If memory serves me correctly,
Linda is almost as rare as Sapphire.

The game has voice and text. And yes, it was officially released.I believe
the catalog # is: HECD5023

Also, I believe this is the second release of the game, since the first
release had several bugs in it.. this one seems flawless... if there are
bugs in it... I never found them.

If there is anything else you would like to know, feel free to email me and
I will try my best to answer your questions.
