@It can do so again. They already licensed crazy taxi and 18 wheeler for
PSX2...

Right. But only one of those is definitely going to be ported and that's
Crazy Taxi. Acclaim is publishing these on PS2, NOT Sega. Acclaim asked Sega
for these two games and Sega handed them over. Why Acclaim wanted them is
anybody's guess. They must be desperate for cash to be making two difficult
ports. Both those games are extremely low priority to Sega outside the
arcade. Crazi Taxi will probably look like crap after Acclaim codes it to
the PS2 since the PS2 only has 4MB of VRAM and is a nightmare when it comes
to coding video textures. It most likely won't look as crisp. Don't hold
your breath for Sonic or Shenmue on PS2. They'll show up at about the same
time as Perfect Dark and Mario show up on the PS2.

@and they have done neo pocket games. There's been sega properties on
gameboy.

That's an entirely different market that has almost zero impact on the
console war. Sega recently stated they have no plans to release properties
like Sonic on GBC.

@Sega is heavily in debt.. it's voted least profitable company in Japan.

Sega is owned by CSK, a thriving multi billion dollar company which can bail
them out if they need it in the future. Japanese business people tend to be
very, very steadfast and stubborn. They aren't going to Sony or Nintendo
anytime soon.

@the internal developers are spun off so they can do independant
development.

WRONG. No offense, but where the heck are you getting this from????? Your
source? LOL. Sega told its developers "Hey, go ahead and make games for
Nintendo and Sony too!"???? That is months old crap that has been shot down
by ALL the game news sites a LONG time ago. Peter Moore, president of SOA
was asked about Sonic Team and AM2 and others making games on other systems
a few months ago and he replied "I don't know where this keeps coming from
because we OWN the development teams" and went on to say that Sega's teams
are SEGA'S teams. They OWN them. Get it? Just like Nintendo owns RARE, Sega
owns Sonic Team and AM2. Naka himself could make a Nintendo game if he
wanted but the only way he could do it is if he did it outside of Sonic
Team.

@Change comes wether we like it or not.

Yeah whatever. You'll be waiting quite awhile for that change. Like I said,
with MGS2, Crash and Spyro on X-Box, the only company losing properties to
other system/s right now is SONY.

@I play games. Not systems.

Better buy a DC if you want Sega games then : ) Sonic Adventure 3 is already
being planned. The DC is far from free agent.
