Sega was software only before you know.
It can do so again. They already licensed crazy taxi and 18 wheeler for
PSX2...
and they have done neo pocket games.
There's been sega properties on gameboy.
Sega is heavily in debt.. it's voted least profitable company in Japan.
the internal developers are spun off so they can do independant
development.
They won't die, but they will change. I think that if their superior
games become
free to be on whatever platform in profitable, they will become a top 5
developer.
Change comes wether we like it or not.
And I agree, sony has developed an atmosphere of ZERO developer loyalty.
And they have no strong software licenses.
