@As far as walkthroughs on the Net, I don't advocate them because they
hamper exploration.

No, I didn't mean *cheat* walkthroughs, merely ones that tell you what each
character is saying as you meet them in the game.

@I attempted to play some Final Fantasy IX (with texture smoothing on...heh)

I'll bet the difference is very negligible based on all the screens I've
seen of PSOne games with texture smoothing on. If they ever release Bleem
(yeah, I know....) it'll blow the doors off what the PS2 does with PSX
games.

@So, I just pulled out GigaWing 2 and worked on my technique and high
scores.  Much easier...and a heck of a lot less frustrating.


I remember on the board when you posted your first impressions of the game,
you stated that with GW2, the improvements are so great Takumi has become a
great shmup company like Raizing and the others. Those are some strong
words. I'd better get an import boot disc and see if you're right......
