My experience with buying things from overseas (mostly Japan, HK) is
that you should prepare yourself to wait longer than buying something
from within the US, because as you said customs usually holds it up
for a couple of extra days. The best thing to do when buying from
overseas is to ONLY buy from those that have some kind of positive
feedback from others that you know and trust, because if something
does go awry, there really isn't a whole lot you can do to someone
with your $$$ overseas. This is one of the reasons I tried to create
the users feedback list for this group, to protect others (& myself)
from getting burned! Although it seems that there isn't much interest
in contributing to it.
