With regards to Ys 3 scrolling, the Engine is just not technically
capable of doing the full screen parallax that the Mega Drive can
handle. They just did the best they could at the time, even if it
does look pretty bad. It would have probably been better as single
layer scrolling. But look at it as a stepping stone for their later
achievements with games like GOT and Winds of Thunder.
