Like I said before, Street Fighter 2 is the best
example of the Turbo at it's rawest(Hucard form).
Bonk 3 does show some power, with having 2 gigantic
Bonks on the screen at one time(heck, the bonk in
Super Bonk doesn't even get that big, & it's only 1
player) When it comes to 1.0 cd titles, I'd say Far
East of Eden Ziria or Ys 1 & 2(that was a 1.0, wasn't
it?) are the best examples of the technology at the
time. When it comes to 2.1 cd's, I say Spriggan kills
them all. Frankly, it's hard for me to believe that
it isn't Super CD. It's better in every way, compared
to all other 2.1 card cd's. Although, Valis 4(with
it's rich color & paralax), Macross 2036(cd/scd
hybrid), & Terraforming(another cd/scd hybrid) are
great examples as well. And Download 2 is quite good
as well. When it come to 3.0, then, probably Dracula
X, along with the Thunder series are the best example
of Super CD capabilities. Ys 4 has some good detail.
Faceball has some nice scaling(or pseudo scaling).
Kaze Kiri has lots of great little details, that make
it that much more fun! Both Legend of Xanadu's have
great detail in the side scolling department(& in the
top view of LOX 2). When it comes to Arcade cd, I'd
say Kabuki & Mad Stalker are probably the best, with
their detail.
