Yea your right the second one is much easier to play through. I think there are only maybe 2 parts where you might get stuck. The first oen is much longer and there are many parts where you could get stuck. I used a Japanese guide to play through it. Other than the massive leveling up you need to do in the later half of the game it's not too bad. Even if you can't get far into LOX 1 you can always just use the debug mode and skip right to the final dungeon of the game. It kinf of reminded me of Darm Tower in Ys 1 but it's much better imho.
