were they good games?
I still have yet to get a PC-FX, but there were quite a few good games that
came out on it including one really good mahjongg game "Shanghai The
Great Wall" (PCE had 3 Shanghai games, all really fun). An excellent
pachinko sim from coconuts I think its called Pachio FX, the same game
publisher that brought the slew of pachio sims to the PCE (I have just about all
of the PCE ones and they are also some of my faves) of course you have to
be a pachinko fan to appreciate these! Other notable games for the PC-FX
would be Chip Chan Kick, which is somewhat similar to Parasol Stars, but
from what I've seen, much much better. An excellent shooter Zeroigar (the one
and only for the PC-FX) also some fighters, and quite a few risque female
anime games. The downside is that PC-FX is Japanese language intensive,
and probably 100% of the games are Japanese, of course you can get
around the shooter, pachinko, mahjongg, and platformer, but the others might
be frustrating. Still it might be worth an NEC fan's while to pursue one. Try
going to PC-FX Moe Moe and have a look at the scans for all of the games
and hardware there. It is in the links area. (of couse it is all in Japanese too)
