The cheats list on the Turbo List page lists the following for the Japanese
Godzilla SCD game
Has anyone ever gotten these to work?
1P Stage select - At the title screen press UP-RIGHT and RUN, then
while holding SELECT press R, R, R, U, U, U, L, L, D, II (within 4 seconds).
2P Monster select - At the title screen press UP-RIGHT and RUN, then
while holding SELECT press R, L, R, L, R, L, U, D, U, D, R, II (within 4 seconds).
High speed mode - At the title screen press UP-RIGHT and RUN, then
while holding SELECT U, R, U, R, U, R, II (again, within 4 seconds)
I've tried all of these many times without any success. Could there be
perhaps a typo? I assume the title screen is the screen with the "Press Run" line and not
the beginning of the intro. UP-RIGHT means diagonal up and to the
right, correct? I've gotten quick enough to get all the key sequences in well before
the Godzilla roar that sounds when the game selection screen appears- I assume
that's the end of the 4 seconds? This is driving me crazy.
