Well, I'm not so sure that Motorola was ever responsible for the 6502...
It's a variant of the Rockwell version of the 65C02 (which isn't so far
from the original 6502).

It is technically possible to get a NES ROM to work on a PCE, although it
would take some knowledge of both platforms, since graphics and sound (both
data and programming) would undoubtedly require some changes.  It is also
technically possible to take such a game and put it on a CD-R to run on a
Duo, providing that it doesn't take more memory than the Duo has available
(about 256KB, or 2 megabits).  It probably wouldn't be worth it to try to
figure out how to page-load a ROM that's larger than that.

However, the amount of effort required to do this isn't trivial.  It would
have to be a darn good game.

On the other hand, there was a bootleg game out for the PCE, which
contained several NES games in a 5-in-1 cart.  It was apparently created by
a firm which called itself "IMAGE" in Finland around 1992.
