Okay, let me reminice.
I got into the turbo scene late into the game.
I got some birthday loot and headed off to Toys R Us to pick something
up, but didn't know what.
I looked at the Genesis, which I think at the time was down to $99 (for
the core), and at the Turbo, which was down to $69.99 with old Keith.
I hammed and hawed. My friend next door had a Genesis, so if I got that,
we could trade games, but being the cheap ass that I am, I thought, Hey!
if I get this Turbo thing, I'll still have enough to get an extra game.
So I grabbed the Turbo, and HOLY CRAP!
Is that Street Fighter (Fighting Street) that I see?
I used to love playing that game in the arcade (even though I could
never pull off a fireball, no matter how hard I tried).
So I grabbed that game as well, and went up to the register.
After I paid, the cashier (cute girl) said, DO you know that you need
the CD player to play this game?
What?
So I took it back and grabbed Victory Run instead.
Gathered about 16 more titles before I traded the whole setup for $60
store credit.
Since then I've bought and sold again 2 Duo's, 3 Turbo's, and now have
a PC Engine Duo and Turbo to play American Hu's. Which I'll keep thank
you.
Biggest Regrets- Buying Exile, Vasteel, Exile:WD, Cosmic Fantasy 2, and
Military Madness for $7.99 a piece, and selling them
                 for less.
And I too thought Keith was a good game, but it annoyed me how I'd get
pushed over a ledge by jumping before I looked and landing on an enemy.
