my unofficial Lords of Thunder comparison

Well, I've had Lords of Thunder sitting here a week (thanks Ryan),
waiting to receive my Duo (thanks TK and
Rich) so that I could play it.
I've had the Sega CD version a while and really enjoyed it. So I
couldn't wait to see how the original was.
Some noticible differences:
1. The SCD (Sega CD) version's music is reallllyyyyy muted. You can
hardly hear it under the sound effects.
2. The SCD version's characters are a little larger, but not nearly as
detailed. Even the armor select stage looks a lot better on the Duo.
There's some hefty slowdown on the SCD version when you go through the
area with the bubbles. DIdn't happen on the Duo.
3. Unlike I heard from someone else a long time ago, the two games seem
to be exact as far as stages go. Same with the music, though the Duo's
is much louder and more crisp.
4. Although they have the same opening animation (though you have to
wait at the title screen on the SCD version for the animation to begin,
whereas the Duo starts of with the animation), I like the SCD version
better because it has a narrator. Also on the item screen, the chick
says "may I help you?" on the SCD version. No one says anything on the
Duo. And the way she says it reminds me of something I might have heard
at a brothel, if I had ever gone to one.....
5. Though I like the graphics better on the Duo version, some of the
bosses look washed out on it.
Maybe it's just an individual's aesthetics, but I liked the darker
colors on the SCD version.
6. Normal mode on the SCD version is MUUUUCCCCHHHHH easier than Normal
mode on the Duo.
You get a lot more powerball thingies, and hits don't clear as many of
them away from you.

All in all, I like the Duo version a lot better. Though it would have
been better with some voice and darker colors here and there. Both
versions are fun though.

Now, was there ever a soundtrack released for this game?
I must have one.
Thanks
