Re: What Went Wrong?

I will add my own personal slant to this. As a kid growing up with only
owning 1 or 2 video game systems(as almost everyone else I knew did), the
Turbo was not highly desireable. Of course, nowadays I like the Turbo a lot
and have discovered some really great games, but back in the day the Turbo
seemed like such a crappy system to me. I would see games like Keith
Courage and thought it was running a Nintendo(how ignorant I was :)). The
system basically had NOTHING going for it, and it was tremendously
overpriced too. It looked like complete crap with the Genesis out, and few
people were going to play Bonk over Sonic. The only thing that piqued my
interest in the Turbo was the Express when it came out, but again, it was so
ridiculously expensive that I couldn't even fathom owning it. I am glad
that I have gotten into the Turbo because it IS a great system, but it just
didn't have the right stuff going for it at the time.
