Both work just fine, however once caveat to this -- yopu will need the
system 1.0 card for the CD vesion (regardless of whether you are playing
on a US of Japanese system).

There are several games that will only run on the Japanese super system
card (A. III, Bonanza Bros, the FEoE2 demo on the RPG sampler). These
games apparently check to ensure that the OS is version "3.00,"
whereas the US OS is "3.01" (most games appear to do a >= check).
As far as I know, all regular (non-supergrafx) PCE games will run on
a Duo, so long as you have the right OS or adapter.
