Yes, you are wrong. Compile originally created the game Puyo Puyo, and Dr.
Robotnik is basically a revamped version of Puyo Puyo for Mega Drive and
Game Gear, licensed by Compile. Nintendo also did a similar thing on the
SNES with Kirby's Avalanche.
Puyo Puyo is the original game, and Robotnik and Kirby are both based on
Puyo Puyo. You had them the wrong way around.
