The problem is that those of us in the world with common sense often forget
that not all people actually have common sense. For example, for a while I
worked at Kinko's Copies (hmm, wonder if that had anything to do with my
fanzine production [mentioned below]). Now, if you were to walk up to any
copy machine in the world, and simply look it over, my brain tells me that
a normal human being could logically understand how to work the machine
after a minute or two - because the machines are MADE to be like that. They
aren't high-end super computers that you need training on. Yet, even the
simplest of tasks when running one are like brain surgery to some people.
It's times when people come up to you and ask you for a double-sided
transparency that you really have to question how mankind has survived for
as long as it has.

Yup, it was an emulator, so far as I know - like most classics discs. Of
course, seeing as the quality (ie lack of) of the titles, I'd probably
rather have them port the games instead...

What fanzines are around these days? My short-lived stint into the world of
video game fanzines was a couple of years ago, and I remember the wonderful
world of fanzines, where most copies of certain ones were sent out to other
fanzines for trade and faneds had these huge squabbles. Game Mag, Chrome,
Digital Press (I think they're still around), Slap-Dash, Video Zone,
Splat!, a few names I remember.

I remember being so happy when EGM2 did up a review of my one-issue
PlayStation fanzine... boy did I get a kick out of that. ^_^ That was, of
course, before I went to work for GameFan and being in a mag became just
another thing to me. I still get a kick out of seeing different faned names
I recognize show up in different online and print mags. You know, I've had
the fanzine bug for quite some time now... I've really been tempted to kick
my fanzine back into gear. Of course, seeing as how I don't have the time
to do half of the things I'm currently trying to do, I doubt it'll ever
happen. [hehe]
