Today, I went shopping around Tokyo and to my surprise
came across the PCE LT. Needless to say, I bought it
even tho it has now set me back financially quite a bit.
I picked up some loose hucards that I am now playing.
I am very surprised. The screen quality is great.
But , it does experience the same burnt in effect and
waving lines
as the Express does and the characters are difficult to
read if they are too small. I am wondering about
the technical aspects of the machine. Are they the same
as the Express/GT? Whoever else has one, or if there
is a website dedicated to it. Please let me know.
Id be very interested to find out more about it.
Im also curious about all the I/O ports and there
functions.
It appears to have an external ant. in as well as
an AV in (plus bus port, pad, ear). And it does have a
built in ant. which i can pick up television quite well
from my room. I also wanna know how it hooks up to the
CD-rom unit.
The most suprising thing however was that after I had
purchased the unit. I noticed behind the counter 2 more
LTs. One was bare, the other was complete in box with
the pc-lt CD-rom adapter complete in box right under it.
I continued to ask the clerk about it, but he said it
wasnt for sale. So, I finally convinced them to let me
hold it and look at the box.
I really dont know if these will be for sale or not.
So, I am gonna continue to check back at the shop
in the next few weeks to see if they decide to sell them.
If I can pick another one up, I'll be sure to offer
it to the list.
Mine came with the AC adapter and the 2 inch cord
to connect to the CD-rom AC port (i believe), so
I was wondering what else came with a complete
unit. On the box I was looking at it had several
other things listed, but I wasnt exactly sure what
they all were. I know of course the box and instructions,
but I was wondering what else.
So, it was quite an exciting day no less.
I am really surprise since so far I have seen 4 LTs
altogeher (but only one forsale). And yet I have not
seen a shuttle grafx or a supergrafx system as well
as some other peripherals that should be more common.
Ive picked up a few other games that I will be selling.
Give me a while to check them over and make a list.
So, like I said. Anyone with an LT or someplace
I can get the info, Id greatly appreciate it.
Also, I know there is the list catalog for all the
games released, but it there such a thing for hardware?
Id like to see a complete list of all the official
released hardware in the PC-E family.
Thanks alot
jjacquet
