Well, the Mega Drive had an equally dismal launch when it launched in
late '88 with Space Harrier II and Super Thunder Blade for the first
month. Besides those 2 games, Altered Beast and one other action title
were released in 1988. To say the least, Sega has really improved since
the old days.
