PCE prices can fluctuate wildly in different parts of Japan. I've been to
Fukuoka, Okinawa, Tokyo and Osaka and prices are so different, it isn't
even funny. Of course games like DracX and Sapphire are ridiculously
expensive ('cept Okinawa), but from what I've seen, prices in a particular
place are only representative of that area.

I don't think PCE stuff in general is getting more expensive, maybe except
in Tokyo/Akihabara. I found about 40 brand new games for Y300 each a few
months ago... nothing special, but I didn't have any of them. Of course
the store was trying to clear their old stock out. They didn't have much
of a problem when I got there. :)

I've bought/seen PCE CGs and CG2 for Y600, and Duo's for Y1000, White PCEs
with old interface unit/CDROM for Y3000 and Y5000. That's seems cheap to
me. Then again, I've seen new systems (Duos and CGs) going from
Y9800-original price (new).

In short, it all depends on where you are.
