Don't worry. It's not off topic. Similar games or games from the same series
on other systems besides the TG-16/PCE are discussed here a lot. Anyways,
I've played and beaten Super Bonk for the SNES (been a few years). It's a
totally original Bonk title. It's very good as Bonk goes, although not quite
as good as Bonk 2 or 3 IMHO. You can grow super big like in Bonk 3 (although
when you do, you're quite a bit smaller than the Big Bonk in TG-16 Bonk 3,
unfortunately). The graphics are really good (most of the bosses are great,
there's a giant bonus Smiley Face boss you battle and the end fight with
King Drool is really cool), though not much better than the TG-16 Bonk
games, just with a little more shading. The sound and music are well done.
The game's graphic style and feel is very similar to Super Air Zonk IMHO. I
highly recommend it. Pick it up if you find it. The Gameboy Bonk games are
great too. There's Super Bonk 2 which was released in Japan that I'd like to
play. It's supposed to be good and I hear it has a very weird "Parodius"
style of humor this time. Well, bottom line, if you like Bonk, then you'll
enjoy Super Bonk (though probably not quite as much as Bonk 2 or 3). Maybe
someone here who's played Super Bonk 2 can comment on it?
