That's mostly true, but if you can find one, you can use a 1.0 System card as
well, I'm pretty sure. To be blunt, you cannot play any CD game on a
TurboGrafx with CD player without a system card of some sort. Different games
will require different system cards. Higher-level cards, however, can play
about 99% of the games on lower-level cards. i.e. you can play a regular CD
game with a Super System card. The Arcade Card simply adds more RAM to the
Super System card. 2 Megabytes, to be exact. If you have a TG16 w/CDROM, you
need an Arcade Card Pro. If you have a Duo,you can use either the Pro or an
Arcade Card Duo. Now, I mentioned 99% before, because there are a few
exceptions. I don't know them all but the only one I know is Altered Beast,
that game NEEDS the 1.0 system card in order to run properly. Also, if you
have a Duo, that has a system card built in, so you don't need a system card
for it.
Hope that cleared some dust away.
