Hi!
With this design, you can use a simple switch. For the 'non-electronic'
approach you will need a switch for all 8 data lines. These are difficult
to
get....
Bit I don't think that this design is close to optimal. Theoretically one
bi-directional latch/multiplexer will do. I will check this out.
