Duo cable question

I seem to remember reading once that the video cable on the Turbo Duo can be 
a little iffy, connection-wise, on the Duo end of the cable.  I was checking 
out my Duo tonight (which has only been used 2 or 3 times), and noticed that 
it didn't take much to make the connection unstable.  Neither the cable or 
port has been abused/damaged in any way.  Is this at all common??
