Originally it was thought to use X68000 software (the X68000 is a 
Japanese personal computer series) and it even looks like an X68K, but it seems to only play it's own X68K software, on big 5in 
floopy discs, and they are impossible to find anywhere. 
Even the Japanese game "otaku's" I know have never seen any "real" 
software for this system.

Not that I know of. As far a I know the switch that turns on the PCE 
part shuts down the computer part.

Yes, it came out in Dec '89 and only lasted a coupe of years. In an old 
computer magazine, circa 1992, they were selling for about $100.00 at clearence!
