Sharp X-1 Twin controller/meaning of "shin"

Date
at http://www2.gol.com/users/geopal/x-1twin03.html Geopal mentioned that
the controller of the X-1 Twin is "very different from any other pad
released for the PC Engine". Has anyone seen a PCE pad like this? I
have some MSX pads which look identical (except for the select/run
buttons). I've actually found them to be pretty good for long term
play.

As for the thing about "shin", Joan, Shou-sama and Otaku are all right.
The "shin" kanji in shin-yokohama or shinkansen means new, but the kanji
in "Shin Samurai Spirits" means true. There are others, but those are
the two most common ones that I know of.

BTW, I'm back. I was dropped from the TML a few months ago when my
email server went down for an extended period then hit a hellishly busy
few months of work, but now I have resurfaced. Oh yeah, I still sell
Japanese PCE games...
