A Jinn Question(not Gin)

In the Dc game Marvel vs Capcom, there is a character named Jinn. Has he been 
in other PCE or Saturn games? If so what are they. 
Also. Is there a PCE game of Strider Hiru? I know there was to be a 
Supergrafx one that never was to be.
