I had a nice talk with Shinichi Nakamoto today...

Hi fellow list members,

today I had a personal 1 hour talk to Mr. Shinichi Nakamoto
(now Executive Vice President of Hudson Japan, maker of Bomberman
and actually main designer of the PC Engine) in person. He was
on a business trip in munich and I had the rare opportunity to
have a little chat with him. (the programmer of Bomberman SS
was also there)

Besides that I got several games signed, we talked about his
view of japan's gaming history with online and MOBILE gaming being
the main aspects in the future (connectivity between cell
phones and game consoles) and various other stuff. He was
extremely nice with good knowledge of english language. (and before
you ask, Gamecube development has already begun...)

A thing that surprised me is the Hudson seems to have opened
all Engine sources to the public (or at least isn't enforcing
copyrights anymore) and he spoke VERY positively about emulators
for the PC (engine of course) and was happy about people still
playing "such old games" as Roms.

Just my thoughts on IMO one of the greatest person in the
videogame biz'.

Greetings, Tobias
