arcade cards

hello everyone.....im looking to buy an arcade card, and i currently have a
duo...im planning on buying a japanese pc engine+cdrom2 though.....so my
question is, will an arcade card pro work on my duo for the time being, or
will i need to wait until i actually get the pc+cd2?
