Anyway, to the original poster:
If you're looking for games, go to Akihabara.  I wouldn't even bother
trying to look anywhere else.  And don't worry about not knowing where to
go in Akihabara, you'll find lots of stuff pretty easily.

To be honest, it's hard to cover all the interesting things about Japan in
one trip.  Just have the time of your life while you're there.  Hell, I
had a great time just being there.  Going to the touristy places and stuff
was just icing on the cake.
