favorite games?

Here's my list of favorites:

HORIZONTAL SHOOTER: Well, I play the Soldier series (vertical) more than any
others, but Darius Plus would have to be my 'current' favorite. There are
SO many shooters for this console, you don't need to worry about that ;)

HORIZONTAL ACTION/ADVENTURE: Dracula X, most definetly. Dragon's Curse,
too.

US RPG: Well, there were damn few. Dragon Slayer is the best 'classic' RPG.

RACING: Final Lap Twin! :)

SPORTS: I once had Madden Football, only Turbo sports title I ever owned.
Pretty fun with another player (did it support 5?).

PUZZLE: Souko Ban World (AKA Boxyboy). My girlfriend plays this a LOT!

I don't know if someone can jump into the world of Turbo today without ever
having played it when they were younger. Thing is, it's either a buff 8-bit
machine, or an underpowered 16-bit machine, depending on who you ask. It
has its bright shining moments in games like Dracula X and Soldier Blade,
but most of the games really lack depth, both visually and gameplay-wise.
Most of the enjoyment comes from pure nostalgia.

I can't explain why I love it, but I do! It was a novel idea, but the
Americans ruined it by changing the size of the console, and dropping the
ball on marketing. It became 'just another console'. Imagine if the size
of the American console was the same as the Engine! People would have been
truly impressed. I mean, that thing is tiny! It can very easily be stashed
in a backpack. If it were marketed better... Ach! It really makes me mad!

Sorry for ranting, I think I've got a fever.
