Also note that when the "other" character has his back to you by a
wall, in the Japanese version he is taking a long wiz on the wall (until a pot, or whatever, hits him on the head).
In the end there really is no point, but it all made sense (even the
pot falling on the head) if you watched the TV show that the game was based on. It was a really funny show, totally slapstick,
and could be enjoyed without any knowledge of Japanese; on from the late '80s to about '94 or so.
Ken Shimura is still at it, performing much of the same humor on his
own. Cha Kato split off and spends his time as a talk & quiz show guest, or "talento."
