Greets;
as most of you know, I have been working on a homebrew game for
the PCE; the most recent "beta" release is available from
http://joyce.eng.yale.edu/~bt/turbo/rom/crash
Since that release several months ago, I have found some time
to make a series of improvements/bug fixes and am now ready to
get some final input from a few list members as to things they
like, don't like, problems, etc.
So, if you have an hour or so to spend (waste) playing a brand
new PCE game (to see if you can uncover all of the intermission
screens), and would like to see the latest version of Crash
before anyone else does, then drop me a note. I am looking for
any feedback (game sucks, game is too difficult, game is fun,
etc), if I get enough feedback from a person that I can use in the
game, I will add your name to the credits list in the game.
The game has been tested on:
Magic Engine
A real PCE (using a Super Magic Griffon)
a TG-16 and a Turbo Duo (using a prototype of Jerry DeSilva's
TurboRAM)
In your note, let me know what version (US or JP) of the game
taht you will need (if you're running on hardware; I belive that
all emulators out there can handle both). All I ask is that you
give the game an hour or so and give me some sort of feedback,
I do not care how minute it is, but I would liek this to be a nice
looking game when all is said and done.
For those of you not inter5ested in beta testing this, hold on,
probably another week or so and I will have a final release
available at the forementioned web page.
one other thing, if you are interested in helping out with a few
other PCE projects, let me know. Right now my biggest need is
for graphics persons (no coding skill needed). If you have interest,
let me know and I'll fill you in.
Thanks,
-bt
