Okay, we all have our own opinions, and I respect that. But as I am sure most
of you know that the Japanese gaming market it the heart and soul of the
gaming market. I have yet to see an American or European console
successfully established. Well, the Xbox hasn't been well received in Japan.
In my opinion the Xbox is the bastard cousin of the PC. I am not looking
forward to the Xbox, nothing on that system looks appealing except for Cell
Damage. One thing about PC games the usually irks me is that I have to read
a 150-page manual before I can actually play some games. Okay, shift-
control-space bar to jump and shoot with a barrel roll... yeah.
fun....I don't think Sony has much competition from Microsoft, Nintendo, on the otherhand,
looks poised to conquer the gaming market..... the ages 15 and under
gaming market. Hail Pokemon. If Xbox stands a strand of a chance, they need
to team with Sega like Sony did with Square and Nintendo did with Rare. But I
don't think Rare is Third Party. Needless to say, this Xmas season will be
interesting. But I wouldn't put too much faith in the Xbox. I read once
that the Xbox has already one HUGE obstacle to overcome, Mircosoft's reputation. If I
do get an Xbox, I'll wait for Service Pack 3.
