TE and adaptor questions...

well, sorry to stir up such animosity (heh), but on the up-side, i DID
receive my TE today, and from what i can gather, there are no bad pixels.
boy, is this badboy a BEAUT!!!! the tv tuner works like a charm; the power
went out at my work today, and i leisurely strolled off to the breakroom, to
take my lunch, and watch some cheesy talkshows on my TE!!! bliss. when the
commercials hit, i popped in Space Harrier and blew up some baddies. by
Stage 3, i assumed the show was back on, and switched the TE back.

the customers at work were BLOWN AWAY at the TE, and i had more than a
handful of people asking if we still sold the thing. when i told them hold
old and yet how spectacular it was, most people complained about the Game
Boy, Game Gear, and so on. i couldn't have agreed more. Also picked up Y's 1
& 2, Cosmic Fantasy 2, Valis II, Sherlock Holmes, and Fighting Street for my
TGCD. thanks to everyone who had a suggestion!

on a final note, i had a couple more TE questions. when connected to the
adaptor that came included with my TE (yes, it's an official NEC TE
adaptor), the thing cuts in and out. i've heard this mentioned before, on
several occasions. my question is: is this problem most likely the fault of
the TE itself, or the adaptor? i'm scared to death it's the TE, though she
runs like a dream on batteries. also, since the wife has put a lid on my
spending, due mostly in part to my new Turbo-goodies, are there any AC
adaptors that are interchangable with the TE's? or as far as
on-the-go-gaming is concerned, will a Gboy/GGear/Nomad multi car adaptor
work well with a TE, are the voltages acceptable, etc... thanks in advance
for any & all replies!
