a service called Post2post.com . I use them to buy stuff in the US
mailorder that won't ship to Japan. They will do it the other way too,
from Japan to the US -- you just pay two shipping fees. It can be
expensive though. I tend to use it for big ticket items I just can't
get here, or large volumes of things I can't get here. The silliest
thing I had sent over through them was 8 gigantic boxes of Honeycomb
and Count Chocula cereal. (American breakfast cereals are totally
unknown here.)
Speaking of which, I have been known to do favors for people for
boxes of Froot Loops.... ;)
