If you like shooters you'll probably love the Duo. As for Super
Darius, its a good port of the arcade original. If you started playing
Darius games with the Gaiden and G releases you may find the lack of
variety in levels a downside. Here's some notable shooters (but
there's many more...). *-neo
(CD/ SCD)
Cho Aniki (very surreal)(J)
Super Darius II (if you like Darius)(J)
Spriggan I and 2(J)
Lords/ Gates of Thunder
Super Raiden(J)
Star Pariodier(J)
Macross 2036 (though way too easy...)(J)
Nexar(J)
Slyphia (Paul's absolutely right)(J)
Cotton
Zero Wing(J) and Sidearms Special(J) (couple favorites of mine, but
some people find them average)
Hmmm if you're buying a Turbo Duo you should be able to play Hucards,
just not Japanese ones. Fortunately many of the best HU shooters are
available in the US.
Soldier Blade and Super Star Soldier
Rtype / Rtype Complete CD (J) (if you like Rtype)
Aeroblasters
Air Zonk
Magical Chase
Blazing Lasers
Fantasy Zone (heh well I like it anyway)
