This just brought up a topic I was planning to bring up on my own. Back in
the day when the Amiga was cool, my friend and I discovered that Bonks
Adventure got released on the Amiga.... It was titled "BC Kid" and I
remember how I could not get over how great that version was... To be
honest I was a little confused by it's greatness. The music was all
different, but very cool... Some of the best I have heard, and there were a
few small differences. One that I recall, was the fact that Bonk, or BC kid
I guess as you would call him, appeared to have the sprites used in the
second game, and when he died... no foaming at the mouth, his eyes closed,
and there were bandages on his head. The in game graphics were mostly the
same, however the sky was much more colorful, and if memory serves
correctly... there was parlex scrolling too.
I have to admit, I thought the Amiga version was outstanding... of course
it came out years after the PCE/TG16 ver... so of course there is chance to
make some improvement. and well, I can't keep it a secret, I loved the Amiga...
Anyone else got a chance to play the Amiga version?
