RGB hookup help

I just picked up a Fisher Studio TV that has 4 video inputs and one of 
those RGB inputs. I remember some talk in the past about hooking up a duo using RGB 
inputs and that the picture was better.  Can anyone help me do this?  I 
would like to use this with one of my systems in this room, and 
wondered if it would be better than trying to do it with a PSX, or NES, 
or genesis.
