Interesting question. I have most everything that's really been eluding me
over the years; I recently bought copies of Seiya Monogatari and Linda Cube
from Japan...and I picked up a copy of Sapphire earlier in the year. Most
everything else "collectible" (or good, for that matter) I bought new off the
shelf after I started on the system. I'm going back and experimenting with
some stuff I've "passed" on in the past though...and games like Double Dragon
II, Galaxy Deka Gayvan, and Downtown Nekketsu Monogatari are high on my list
of things to pick up. I know some people may laugh at crap like that, but,
honestly, I have a large PC Engine collection which contains most of the
"popular" stuff...so I'm going to fringe areas now...like mahjong, puzzle
games, poor games, etc. I'm also considering going back and checking out
some of the RPGs I never bothered with also...and possibly some of the
strategy titles I chose not to buy. Like the Saturn, you'll find many, many
Turbo bashers on the Net...and these folks are truly misguided souls. If
these people would stop having sex with their PlayStations for a minute and
actually play some good titles on the other platforms they arbitrarily
bash...possibly they'd get a clue. Despite...at the time...being in awe of
my Genesis, I hopped onto the PC Engine bandwagon early in the 90s and have
never regretted that decision since. Although my collection of games and
systems has considerably grown since then, the PC Engine (including
SuperGrafx) still takes most of my gaming moments (with Saturn second and DC
third, by the way). Not bad for an underpowered 8-bit system with the
graphics equivalent of a penis extension. By the way, who has actually
played their copy of Circus Lido? I haven't. I never really cared to buy
the game (even if it were cheap...which, of course, it wasn't) until the
thing went on sale on Amazon. That was too good a deal to pass on...however,
I still don't care to play it. I'll probably pop it open one day, though,
because I'm not one of those "keep it shrinkwraped and never play it" dweebs.
I've never understood people like that...and I never will.
