my top ten games of all time in no particular order:
Samba De Amigo (DC)--instant party game
Cosmic Fantasy 2 (PCE)--game that got me liking RPGs
Archon (PC)--ahem! Howabout a remake?
Soul Calibur (DC)--3D fighters don't get much better than this
Saturn Bomberman (Saturn)--another party game
Samurai Shodown 2 (Neo Geo)--my fave 2D fighter ever
Final Fantasy VI (SNES)--still think this is the best FF
Dracula X (PCE)--nuff said
Guardian Heroes (Saturn)--only Treasure could be the first to make a party
fighting game work
Gals Panic S (arcade)--musta spent enough money to buy a car on this game
when I was in Japan
close contenders:
Twisted Metal 2/Black (PSX/PS2)--the only two games that get vehicular combat
right
Gals Panic SS (Saturn)--not the arcade but still fun nonetheless
Panzer Dragoon Saga (Sat)--if only it were longer
River City Ransom (NES)--make Double Dragon into an almost RPG and this is
the result
Super (Kunio) Dodge Ball (arcade,PCE)--just too much fun
Guardian Legend (NES)--why an update/sequel hasn't been made is beyond my
comprehension
Any other Treasure game
