PCE Duo compatibility with TG games

I'm the owner of a PC Engine Duo and I found that ADPCM sounds in some
TG/TG-CD games don't work with the PCE. Doing some research I found
modifications for the PCE that involve taking some pin and connecting it
to ground. Would this be appropriate for fixing this particular problem?
